Our Mission

We study how media and technology shape democratic life. Through rigorous research, innovative tools, and public engagement, we work to strengthen the information foundations that healthy democracies depend on.

The Centre for Media, Technology and Democracy is a research centre at McGill University's Max Bell School of Public Policy. We produce research, tools, and public analysis to strengthen the quality of Canada's information environment and democratic institutions.
